Communications Nigel was a successful serial entrepreneur, building and selling companies.
In 1998 Nigel decided to create a family business; Global 4 Communications. Under Nigel’s leadership, Global 4 has set out to make the telecommunications better for business by introducing market-leading solutions, addressing the issues that frustrate and annoy customers through highly efficient customer service. Nigel believes that excellent customer service can be provided by focusing in on attention to detail of the customer’s requirements.
Nigel is a firm believer that the art of good management is in delegation. Nigel has put in place a quality management team in place at Global 4 Communications that has enabled the company grow and to address the challenges of a company that is growing rapidly whilst also retaining an eye on the profitability of the company.
As Managing Director, Carl Barnett oversees overall co-ordination, management and leadership of the sales initiatives for Global 4 Communications. Key functions include development and execution of sales strategies, key account management
and management and leadership of the sales team. Carl works in collaboration with the Global 4 marketing team to identify and develop marketing initiatives and new customer service opportunities.
With more than 15 years of sales and leadership experience, Carl has been immersed in the Telecommunications industry. Carl has worked from the ground-up at Global 4 Communications, having worked in each department at Global 4 Communications. This invaluable experience has enabled Carl to become a telecoms solutions provider.
This unique skill has enabled Carl to become one of the most sought-after Sales Professionals in the Telecoms industry.

At the heart of the UK estate agency and property industry I helped transform Connells into a broad property services group, growing profits from £10m in 2001 to over £100m at their peak. Moved on to be responsible for the 500 branch estate agency division of LSL including Your Move, Reeds Rains and Marsh & Parsons. Now running private equity owned PSH Group incorporating the 140 sales and lettings branches of Romans
Strong M&A experience including acquisition of 320 loss making estate agency branches from Royal Insurance and turning it to £20m+ annual profits. Also represented Connells 30% stake in Rightmove plc and subsequent JV in Zoopla plc both deals creating £ billions of value.

In January 2021 I became the Managing Director of our industry-leading Wholesale Services division, lead our group Openreach engagement and our group’s Fibre development. My mission today is to lead our business, and our Partners, as the UK pivots from copper to full fibre and independent networks are providing competitive alternatives in the market
I am responsible for leading Wholesale Services to become the connectivity partner of choice for UK-based Service Providers and be at the forefront of new partnerships with Alternative Networks
